In the heinous murder of Jisha from Kuruppampady in Perumbavoor, a proactive enquiry should be conducted to bring those guilty to book. Jisha, the law student from Kuruppampady in Perumbavoor was brutally attacked and killed. The young woman was alone at her house when this incident occurred. It is horrific that even her internal organs were exposed in the attack. The fact that her genitalia were also destroyed has come to light. This incident reminds us of the violent attack on a woman in Delhi a few years back. Violence against women is increasing in the state. It is the sloppy nature of implementing strong measure at various stages that has led to this.

Despite it being several days since the incident has occurred, the police are yet to find any clear information about the perpetrators of this crime. The government should shed its lackadaisical approach in this matter and conduct a proper enquiry.
