EMS Academy

EMS Academy is an educational institution established by the   Kerala State Committee of CPI (M) in memory of veteran communist leader Com. E M S Nampoothiripad. The Academy is basically planned to organize four types of academic programmes.

• Party School – to educate party cadres on organizational matter on a regular basis

• Study Camps for class and mass organizations- to conduct short term study class as and when required

• Campaign model Party Class for lower fractions – These classes will be organized based on contemporary political issues and also to impart education among cadres on basic aspects of Marxism-Leninism. In addition to this classes are also conducted to give training to those who handle party school at lower level

• General courses targeting University Students- These are academic oriented programmes and will be formulated based on the syllabus existing in Universities.

EMS Academy is having a residential campus and the work for a state of the art library is in progress. The first three kinds of programmes are being conducted by the academy at present.
